- 250 gramsAval (Flattened Rice)
- 4 TbspRice Flour
- 2 No'sOnion
- 8 No'sCrushed Garlic with Skin
- 1 TbspChilli flakes
- As RequiredCoriander Leaves
- As RequiredCurry Leaves
- 100 mlCurd
- To TasteSalt
- For FryingOil
- 1Add thick Aval to a mixing bowl. Soak the Aval for approximately ten minutes after submerging it in the necessary amount of water.
- 2After ten minutes, carefully strain the Aval to make sure it is completely dry.
- 3To the soaked aval, add finely chopped Onions, generous amount of finely chopped Coriander leaves, Rice flour and Curry leaves.
- 4Followed by Curry Leaves, add Red Chili Flakes, Fennel seeds, Crushed Garlic and Salt.
- 5Instructed amount of Curd is added to the mixture and is mixed thoroughly. Pinch a small amount of prepared aval mixture and roll it into balls.
- 6Lay the squeezed ball on your palm and press it flat with your fingertips. Using your finger, create a hole in the center.
- 7Drop the prepared Vadai one at a time into the hot oil and fry.
- 8Now that Aval Vadai is ready to snack on, it tastes fantastic.
