Kuzhi Paniyaram is a delightful snack created using a combination of Rice and Urad dal. Various types of Paniyaram are prepared, including Sweet Paniyaram, Kara Paniyaram, Mango Paniyaram, and many others. Apart from Rice and Urad dal, Maida, Rice flour, and a variety of other flours are used to make delectable Paniyaram. Paniyaram is made in a special pan that contains molds for dropping in the batter and cooking the dumplings. This unique pan is known as Paniyaram Chatti or Appe Pan.

Paniyaram is prepared in other adjacent states and is known as Paddu, Guliyappa, Yeriyappa, Gundponglu, and Gunta Ponganalu. Chef Deena Kitchen describes the method of preparing Sweet/InippuPpaniyaram in detail, using photos.
