Soaked Flattened Rice/Aval is combined with mashed ripened Banana, Country Sugar, Cardamom Powder, Dry Raisins, Cashew Nuts and Coconut Milk, resulting a soothing delicacy. This No Fire Aval Payasam is an easy, tasty and a quick sweet version, which holds a special place in our culinary traditions.

- 1The first step in this preparation is to soak the red poha or flattened rice in water for 2–3 hours.
- 2To extract coconut milk, chop Coconut into small slices and blend in a mixer jar with 1 ½ glass of water.
- 3Strain the blend mixture using a strainer and keep the filtered Coconut milk aside.
- 4Strain the soaked flattened rice thoroughly and add it to a medium sized mixing bowl. Followed by Flattened rice, add mashed Bananas to the flattened rice.
- 5The next step is to add the Country Sugar, Cardamom Powder, Raisins, and Cashew nuts to the mixture.
- 6Mash all of the additional ingredients together thoroughly.
- 7Combine the mashed mixture with the coconut milk and mix thoroughly.
- 8A delicious Aval Payasam without fire is now available for consumption.
