Seer Fish Fry

Fish Fry is a great option for every kind of event, including social gatherings, summer parties, and elaborate Sunday dinners. Fish is a simple and nutrient-dense food that cooks well. These fish fries are fantastic when made with meticulous planning and can even satisfy our midday hunger on Sundays. 

The Seer Fish is used in Chef Deena’s Kitchen to make a flavorful and unique fish fry. One of the healthiest and most delicious species of fish is the seer fish. Curry leaves, Coriander Leaves, and green chilies are used to make a unique green paste in addition to the standard marinade. After coating the fish, it is cooked and sprinkled with cumin-pepper powder

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 Kg
    Seer Fish
  • A Handful
    Coriander Leaves
  • As Required
    Curry Leaves
  • 8 to 10 No's
    Green Chilli
  • 1 Tsp
    Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 Tsp
    Turmeric powder
  • 2 Tsp
    Black pepper powder
  • 1 Tsp
    Cumin Seeds Powder
  • 1 No.
    Lemon
  • To Taste
    Salt
  • For Frying
    Oil

    Cleaning the Seer Fish carefully is the first stage in this process. Add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, crushed green chili paste, salt, coriander leaves, and lemon juice to the cleaned fish to marinate it. After well combining all the ingredients, let it sit for an hour without disturbing it.

    To make the paste, add Coriander leaves, curry leaves, green chili, salt, a little oil, and a little water to a mixer jar and grind it to a coarse paste.

    The seasoning powder is made by combining 2 tbsp pepper powder and 1 tbsp cumin powder.

    After marinating for one hour, the fish is ready for the next coating stage. Apply a uniform layer of the coarse green paste on all sides of the marinated fish.

    The prepared pepper-cumin powder mixture is applied on both sides of the coated fish. Give the coated fish a half-hour to rest so the flavors can seep in.

    After thoroughly heating, season the dosa tawa with onion and oil. Arrange the coated fish on the hot tawa and cook it through on both sides. Fish can be fried with a small amount of oil if needed.
